Project Director
Dr. Beth Jaworski is the WAIV Project
Director. She is the person
responsible for the overall
administration of the WAIV contract,
and she also serves as the Director of
Services to Students with

Career Development Coordinator
Amanda Spivey provides one-on-one
coaching through the job search process:
from resumes and internships to on-line job
search and career information. She is a
great resource for ADA employment issues
and has an entire library of videos, audio
cassettes and reference books on
interviewing, cover letters and electronic
resumes. Amanda is the "how to" person in
WAIV. aspivey@csusb.edu
Education Services Specialist
Ruth Howell is the point person for DR clients
and DR counselors regarding questions about
CSUSB. Need an education plan? an advisor?
help understanding financial aid? how about a
tutor or computer training?
Ruth is the source of lots of information. And if
she doesn't know the answer to your question,
she'll find someone who does! rhowell@csusb.edu
Project Secretary
Jan Zarr is usually the first
person you meet at WorkAbility. She
makes appointments for the staff,
maintains student files and knows most
of the DR counselors. Jan is a good
source of information; if she doesn't
know the answer to your question, she'll find out for you! jzarr@csusb.edu
Computer Lab Technician
Larry Cummins provides assistance with
computer skills for job readiness using
one-on-one orientation and evaluation
procedures. He also maintains the WAIV
